100 pax. capacity. with prior registration.
Once again in fashion is the valencian lunch or esmorzar, the Valencia way of being. It has now become what we call the early lunch culture, a particular way of seeing Valencian gastronomy, a time to put aside daily work and differences, a tradition rooted in our DNA. It first came into being as a break in work at the beginning of the industrial age or for our farm labourers and is today becoming a major pillar of Valencian gastronomy, which has changed down through the years but managed to keep the elements that identify it, among which are its cost and Valencian coffee, cremaet. Valencian early lunch is undoubtedly part of our culture and a legacy from our ancestors.
There will be a lecture talk with representatives of civil society and the hospitality sector on the Culture of the Early Lunch. The talk will be moderated by Antonio Flores (4MGFCS) and TV host Óscar González, Vicente Bru from Bar Institut, Candy Vargas from La Nueva Terraza, influencer Jorge García (Jajajers), Arnau Clari (La ruta del esmorzars), Pablo Lozano (València Club Cocina), writer Vicent Marco, Miguel Ángel Pastor, journalist and food critic from La Razón and Eva Yolanda del Amo (La Cantina de Ruzafa).
Then, there will be a guided visit to Llorenç Barber´s exhibition “La construcción de un nosotros múltiple” and the activity will end in the gothic cloister, where you could taste a whole esmorzar, including the cremaet.
