Chef María José Martínez (Lienzo Restaurant, 1 Michelin Star and 1 Sol Repsol) transports us to ancient Egypt with a unique experience that fuses history, digital art and gastronomy through a reinterpretation of the diet of the pharaohs.
Through three exclusive tapas and two artisan aperitif-style drinks, María José reinterprets ingredients such as tiger nuts, cereals, honey and other fruits of the beehive, key elements in both Egyptian cuisine and Valencian tradition. A journey through ancestral flavours from a contemporary and sustainable perspective, where beekeeping – the chef’s hallmark – plays a leading role.
A totally immersive 360º experience that includes a showcooking with a tasting of 2 traditional drinks and 3 elaborations set in the Egyptian world in which the chef reveals the origin of each dish and how she has adapted millenary techniques to the current cuisine, including a complete visit to the exhibition ‘Tutankhamun’, the immersive experience. The exhibition offers a multi-sensory journey through ancient Egypt, with virtual reality rooms, interactive installations and unique pieces. An experience endorsed by the Valencian Institute of Egyptology that unites culture, technology and haute cuisine in a tasty and vibrant tribute to the pharaonic legacy.
