The garden of the Benlliure Museum hosts a proposal that unites heritage, decorative arts and gastronomy through the ceramic panels created by José Mateu for the Ibero-American Exhibition of 1929-30. Their iconography, based on Valencian cities, products and landscapes, became an inspiration for Roger Julián. The chef of the Simposio restaurant builds a tasting menu based on ingredients that tell us a lot about the local gastronomy: oranges, grapes, rice, dates and fish. A journey where the ceramic legacy and contemporary cuisine meet to celebrate Valencian identity.
