A visit to the exhibition A media lumbre is a journey through crafts, trades and traditions linked to the land. Together with Carito Lourenço, chef of Fierro, and the IVAM mediation team, delve into an exhibition that vindicates materials such as ceramics, clay, esparto grass, wool or embroidery as an art that keeps its own memory and rhythm. The exhibition evokes the filandones of yore, those encounters around the fire where voice, hands and matter helped weave community. Inspired by that slow time, Carito creates an aperitif conceived as a sensory extension of the pieces: morsels paired with beer that transfer the texture and memory of the materials to the palate.
